The most eastern city in the United State is Eastport. Maine is the only state whose name has only one syllable.     
It only shares its border with one other state. Bath is a city known as the City of Ships.  90% of the nation’s lobster 
supply is caught off the coast of Maine. 99% of all the blueberries in the country for produced in Maine. 90% of      
the country’s toothpick supply is produced in Maine. Henry Longfellow was born in Portland.  Steven King is a          
resident of Bangor.  President Bush had a summer home in Kennebunkport. The first sawmill was established         
        near York in 1623.Largest cities are Portland, Lewiston, Bangor, Auburn and South Portland. It borders New Hampshire.
